Consultations

Consultations are available on Mondays (9.30 am – 3.00 pm), Tuesdays (9.00 – 10.00 am, 12.00 to 3.00 pm) & Wednesdays (12.00 – 3.00 pm & 4.30 pm – 9.00 pm)

What happens during a consultation?

During the first appointment, I will ask you questions about your health as well as broader questions to get an understanding of you.  I may ask about your energy levels, personality traits, memory as well as your medical history and family tendencies to illness.  This helps me get an understanding of you as a whole person.  This takes between an hour and 90 minutes and is of course completely confidential. Prescriptions for acute illnesses such as fever, vomiting or flu can be assessed much more quickly.

I analyse this information to tailor-make a prescription of homoeopathic medicine for you (included in the consultation charge).  This is in tablet, powder or liquid form which I dispense at your appointment or post to you.

A follow-up meeting is usually arranged for 4-5 weeks time to monitor progress and give new remedies if needed.  This lasts between 45 minutes to an hour.

Distance appointments available by Zoom, Skype and telephone.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends largely on how long you have been ill, or the characteristics or your case.  Typically, you will need a course of treatment if you have a long standing chronic condition.  As a rough guide, I often see clients once a month for 3 months and then schedule follow ups at longer intervals as their health improves.
